Our Mission
| |
|
To help young Christians, especially college students, to
discover the need for Believers in corporate leadership roles - and perhaps to hear God's calling for them.
To help corporate
managers and leaders fully integrate their work and faith
that they may be more successful in their career and receive
God's blessings. |

From The Executive Calling, by
Roger Andersen...
"The corporate mission is not to be greedy and uncompassionate; it is
only made that way by some leaders and portrayed that way by others.
Your mission is to be a competent steward for investors and a good
shepherd for employees. You motivate your team, as the apostle Paul did,
and you set high expectations, as he also did. You are courageous,
decisive, bold in your vision, and even understand your responsibility
to make judgments about your team! You rejoice and celebrate in the
success of team members and you are respectful to those who fail. You
are humble, but not too modest to show charisma and presence. You avoid
the dangers of greed, arrogance and obsession. It matters little to you
that "everyone else" cheats. For you, integrity is the most powerful
competitive edge.
Your job is demanding, but you are sensitive
to the stress it puts on spousal relationships and the development of
your children. You are equally sensitive to the family needs of your
employees.
Your success as a leader brings material
affluence, but this is not the primary reason that you have an ambition
to lead. Your success brings gain to both shareholders and employees. It
also gives satisfaction to consumers, clients and vendors. Your
employees have better lives because you respect them and care that the
workplace is stimulating, challenging and rewarding. Your success gives
you the privilege to give back generously and to honor God for all His
blessings."
